a nest lined with lavender
The blue tits are building their nest again in the nest box next door, of which we have a clear view. They like to collect their nesting material in our garden. I was somewhat intrigued to see one this afternoon pulling the leaves off our lavender bush. Obviously mere twigs and straw was not for these baby birds. No, these will hatch in a nest lined with lavender.
