wishing

I wish
I could more easily grasp
the things I long to know and understand
I wish
I could remember all the things I have learned,
and not have to learn them
all over again.

Oh so do I!
But as a teacher, I realise that re-learning is re-inforcement of the lesson, and re-inforcement makes us stronger next time!
Maybe Timothy had the same problem - Paul reminded him to 'continue in what he had learned' - perhaps he kept forgetting too!!
