This is how I like to express myself, too.

Lucy,
I sent you a message via your comments form, but I am not sure if it arrived.

I wonder if you might be interested in doing a guest post for Dreaming Beneath the Spires during the week of September 19th-25th.

I am doing a new series on my blog dreamingbeneaththespires.blogspot.com from September 12th: I will invite a few guest posts each week on a scriptural verse or idea; people will tell their stories and experiences with them and/or ideas and interpretations.

I will be focusing on those familiar verses which we love, but whose reality we often have not understood or experienced. For instance, "they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength," I will restore the years the locusts have eaten," "You meant it for evil but God meant it for good," "beauty for ashes... streams in the desert," "Everything works out for good," "In everything give thanks," etc. etc.

I will be running a series of 6 guest posts on my blog next week, September 12th, on the theme, The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth. The posts and outlines sent in already have been fascinating. We will be hearing from people who work or have worked with Word Make Flesh, Doctors without Borders, World Vision, Iris Ministries, Watoto Children’s Village, Servants of Asia’s Poor, Viva etc. The authors live in four continents—Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Check them out, they will be fascinating.

I am increasingly interested by people’s faith stories: how they experience God in their day to day lives, how God reveals himself to them, the ongoing Book of Acts, so to say.

The theme for the week of September 19th will be,
Those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31).

Have you experienced this? Has this been true in your experience? How do you interpret this verse.

Please could you consider doing a guest post for me. This can be as short as a few paragraphs, or as long as you wish. If the verse does not particularly inspire you, would you, perhaps, consider doing one for the week of September 26th? The theme will be a verse from Joel, “I will restore the years the locusts have eaten.” Again, tell your story, meditate on the verse, or both.

Feel free, of course, to repost your contribution on your own blog, after a brief hiatus.

I will post your contribution with a link to your blog or website, as well as to the non-profit or charity of your choice. Please could you send me a byline or brief bio to use.

I will be running the series from the 19th to 25th September. Please could you let me know as soon as convenient if you could might be able to do a guest post, and roughly when to expect it, so that I can schedule it.

Please contact me at dreamingbeneaththespires@gmail.com to let me know. Thanks!! I so hope you might be able to write a guest post for Dreaming Beneath the Spires.

Blessings,
Anita
