prayer

In the light of the previous post, I thought I'd use the prayer for Christian Aid week this year:

God of the rushing wind,
sweep through my indifference.

God of the fiery flames,
ignite my compassion.

God of the many voices
open my mouth to speak out against injustice.

That through your Spirit
and my actions
this world may be transformed.
